About Our Organization

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

We’re part of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and guided by local leaders who have built our company over generations. We are 1,500 productive, professional agents in Georgia. We’re also a locally run mortgage, title and insurance company and an influential charity organization. We’ve created a place where serious agents build careers, and home buyers and sellers act with confidence, backed by a local track record, skilled professionals and a complete real estate experience.

Diversity Leadership Council

Our Diversity Leadership Council is made up of individuals from all parts of our company. Each is passionate about DEI and brings their own unique experience and perspective to the issues we all face today. The team serves as a nucleus to direct our company’s DEI endeavors.

OUR VISION

  • A racism-free workplace where all minority groups feel welcome and respected.
  • A workplace where all forms of gender expression are welcomed and respected and any systematic biases related to gender or sexual orientation are identified and eliminated.
  • A barrier-free workplace that gives access to those with physical and neuro challenges.
  • A gender-balanced workplace where everyone, regardless of sex, has similar levels of representation in all levels of the organization.

OUR GOALS

Our DEI goals have three components, that when working in tandem, will position the company as a leader in valuing and promoting diversity, equity and inclusion:
  1. A culture where all employees and sales associates are valued and respected.
  2. A balanced workplace free of bias, affording equal opportunities.
  3. Equitable home services to a diverse community of buyers and sellers.
